Compact printing
Top, bottom, coupler and avionics sled are sized to fit a 256 mm printer.
Peregrine Mini · Open-source engineering
A compact open-source VTOL FPV tail-sitter with the Peregrine family shape, a bought clear camera dome and a removable avionics sled. Designed around parts that fit a 256 mm printer.
Project status
CAD design only; not yet printed or flown.

Design, document, share
The Mini keeps the curved root fairings, tapered wings and swept canards in a smaller airframe, with short tapered motor pods. The top and bottom join through a keyed twist-lock coupler, while a removable sled carries the electronics. The short pods are not landing feet: an upright launch support is required and is not included in the CAD files.
Motor-lead routes have been modelled and interference-checked. The Mini has no airflow study or flight-test results yet, and the VTX antenna position remains an open design item.
Developed with CAD and AI-assisted design tools, and shared for hobby makers to study and develop. Both versions are unbuilt designs awaiting physical validation.
Inside the design
Top, bottom, coupler and avionics sled are sized to fit a 256 mm printer.
A removable sled gives access to the flight-controller stack and receiver.
A pivoting camera cradle and GPS shelf sit beneath a bought clear dome.
The repository includes STEP files, a bill of materials and motor-lead routing notes.
